Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for several minutes.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink large amounts of water. [UK c.a.: Do not induce
vomiting]. In all cases, remove contaminated clothing.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon and nitrogen oxides
together with metal oxide smoke and some soot. Suitable
extinguishing agents are water, foam, dry powder and carbon
dioxide. Fire-fighters should wear a self-contained
breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up and remove to a safe storage area. Dispose of
waste at a controlled landfill site. Inform local
authorities if the substance enters water courses or
sewers.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid breathing dust. Wash hands after use. Not for human
consumption.
Storage: Store in closed packages protected from excessive heat and
direct sunlight.
