- Executive summary:
The stability of the test substance in organic solvents was determined as part of other guideline and analytical studies. In these studies, the test substance was found to be stable and soluble in acetonitrile (determined in analytical studies), in n-octanol (determined in partition coefficient study) and dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) (determined in genetic toxicity studies) (Sohar, 2012). Under the study conditions, the test substance is considered to be stable in organic solvents.
Reference
The substance is soluble and stable in acetonitrile (as determined by undertaking analytical studies), in n-octanol (as determined in n-octanol:water partition coefficient studies) and dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) as determined in studies of genetic toxicity.
Description of key information
The stability of the test substance in organic sovents was determined in other guideline and analytical studies (Sohar, 2012).
Additional information
The test substance is stable in organic solvents such as acetonitrile, n-octanol, and dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO).
