Known or Anticipated hazardous Products of Combustion: COx, SOx

Accidental release measures

Safeguards (Personnel): If excessive dust is created, wear dust mask or respirator to keep exposure below the permissible exposure level for particulate matter. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.

Spill procedure: Contain spilled material. Take up and place in secure closed containers. All waste materials should be packaged, labelled, and transported in accordance with all national and local requirements.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Technical protection measures: Good general ventilation should be sufficient to control airborne levels.

2. Hand, feet and body protection: For brief contact, normal work attire should be sufficient. When prolonged or frequently repeated contact could occur, use protective clothing impervious to this material.

3. Eye protection: Chemical goggles are recommended to avoid contact with eyes.

4. Respiratory protection: Under normal use conditions, with adequate ventilation, no special respiratory protective equipment is required.

Stability and reactivity

Stability This product is stable at ambient conditions.

Polymerization Hazardous polymerization will not occur.

Incompatibilities with other materials Avoid contact with acids, oxidizing agents.

Decomposition Decomposition may produce fumes, smoke, oxides of carbon and hydrocarbons.

Disposal considerations

Waste from residues/unused products: Residual chemical should be disposed by incineration or by other modes of disposal in compliance with local legislation.

Contaminated packaging: Contaminated packaging material should be treated equivalent to residual chemical. Clean packaging material should be subjected to waste management schemes (recovery recycling, re-use) according to local legislation.
