Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Substance decomposes prior to melting.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
349.84 °C

Additional information

An exothermal effect starting at approx. 130°C could be interpreted as decomposition of the test item. The detected exothermic reaction led to an endothermic effect which could be interpreted as melting process of the decomposed material (approx. 155°C and approx. 156°C). The melting process was found to be not reversible. After cooling down a one-time melted sample the melting point could not be detected anymore.
