Additional information

The toxicity of 3-(chloromethyl)heptane (CAS 123 -04 -6) to fish was tested with the test organism Danio rerio according to OECD 203 (Fish, Acute Toxicity Test). No mortality was observed up to the maximum water solubility of 3.1 mg/L. The determined 96 -h LC50 was > 15.4 mg/L (Ciba, 2000, S21204).

Following this, the test substance is acutely harmful to fish.
