Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
Plyasova (1977) has conducted differential thermal analysis on iron molybdate together with structural investigations via x-ray diffraction. Iron molybdate showed no melting or decompostion up to ca. 750 °C. Polymorphic transformation from orthorhombic to monoclinic was observed at ca 500 °C.

Description of key information

Iron molybdate showed no melting point or decomposition up to ca. 750 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Plyasova (1977) has conducted differential thermal analysis on iron molybdate together with structural investigations via x-ray diffraction. Iron molybdate showed no melting or decomposition upon heating up to ca. 750 °C. Polymorphic transformation from orthorhombic to monoclinic was observed at ca 500 °C.
