First-aid measures
- Following inhalation:
Move to fresh air. If unconscious, place in recovery position and seek medical advice.
- Following skin contact:
Wash with water and soap as a precaution. If on clothes, remove clothes. In the case of skin irritation or allergic reactions see a physician.
- Following eye contact:
Flush eyes with water as a precaution. Remove contact lenses. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Protect unharmed eye. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
- Following ingestion:
- Most important symptoms and effects: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media:
Water spray, Alcohol-resistant foam, Dry chemical
- Unsuitable extinguishing media:
no information available
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Avoid generating dust; fine dust dispersed in air in sufficient concentrations, and in the presence of an ignition source is a potential dust explosion hazard., Heating or fire can release toxic gas.
- Advice for fire fighter: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Use personal protective equipment. Use water spray to cool unopened containers.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions/ Protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Use personal protective equipment. Avoid dust formation
- Environmental precautions:
Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust.Shovel into suitable container for disposal.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling:
No special precautions required.
- Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Avoid dust formation. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: No special restrictions on storage with other products. Keep in a dry place. No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures: It is recommended that all dust control equipment such as local exhaust ventilation and material transport systems involved in handling of this product contain explosion relief vents or an explosion suppression system or an oxygen deficient environment. Ensure that dust-handling systems (such as exhaust ducts, dust collectors, vessels, and processing equipment) are designed in a manner to prevent the escape of dust into the work area (i.e., there is no leakage from the equipment). Use only appropriately classified electrical equipment and powered industrial trucks.
2. Organisational protection measures: see under technical protection measures
3. Hand protection: Wear protective gloves. Break through time : > 480 min
4. Feet protection: See below under Body protection
5. Body protection: Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place
6. Eye protection: Safety glasses
7. Respiratory protection: No personal respiratory protective equipment normally required.
Stability and reactivity
1. Reactivity
: No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
2. Chemical stability
: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions
: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
4. Conditions to avoid
: Heat
5. Incompatible materials
: Strong acids and strong bases, Strong oxidizing agents
6. Hazardous decomposition products: Hydrogen cyanide (hydrocyanic acid)
Disposal considerations
Product: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulation. Contact waste disposal services.
Contaminated packaging: Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal.
