Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact: Wash immediately abundantly with water, remove clothes and shoes contaminated by the product. Wash clothes before re-use. Clean carefully before putting them back. In case of irritation, consult a doctor.
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water. Call a poison center or doctor if you feel unwell.
Fire-fighting measures
Inappropriate extinguishing media: No unsuitable extinguishing media known.
Particular dangers, products of combustion: Toxic and corrosives gases and vapors (nitrous vapors, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide).
Protection against fire: Take account of toxic precipitation water. Dilute toxic gases with water spray. Take account of toxic firefighting water. Use water moderately and if possible collect or contain it. Cool tanks/drums with water spray, remove them into safety.
Heat/fire exposure: Compressed air/oxygen apparatus; Large spills/in enclosed space: Gas-tight suit; Large spills/in enclosed space: compressed air apparatus, corrosion proof suit, face shield, gloves.
Accidental release measures
Emergency procedures : Take away any source of inflammation, have a good ventilation, evacuate the high-risk area
Environmental precautions : Do not dispose to the sewer, nor in the natural environment
Cleaning procedures: Take up spill into closed inert absorbent material, e.g: sand, earth, vermiculite. Scoop absorbed substance into closing containers. Carefully collect the spill/ leftovers. Damaged cooled tanks must be emptied. Clean contaminated surface with an excess of water. Take collect spill to manufacture/ competent authority. Wash clothing and equipment after handling.
Handling and storage
Appropriate technical measures: Observe strict hygiene. Keep container tightly closed. Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Do not discharge the waste into the drain
Recommendations against the fires and the explosions: Keep away from naked flames/heat
Advises for industrial hygiene:
Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area
Hands wash himself after every use
Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
Storage :
Appropriate technical measures: not available
Conditions of storage: Keep locked up. Unauthorized persons are note are not admitted. Provide a tub to collect spills. Ventilation at floor level. Meet the legal requirements.
Incompatibles materials : Oxidizing agents, strong acids
Packaging materials : Plastics

Exposure controls / personal protection
Individual protective measures: High gas/vapor concentration: gas mask with filter type A. Gloves, face shield, corrosion-proof clothing.
Other protections: Keep away from naked flames/heat. Carry operations in the open/under local exhaust/ventilation or with respiratory protection.
Advises for industrial hygiene:
Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area
Hands wash himself after handling the material
Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
Specific advises for the equipment of individual protection against the fire and the chemical risks : See chapter 5
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability : not available
Hazardous reactions : not available
Conditions to be avoided : keep away from naked flames/heat
Incompatibility : Oxidizing agents, strong acids
Hazardous decomposition products : On burning, release of toxic and corrosives gases/vapors (nitrous vapours, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide)
Disposal considerations
16 03 05* (Organic wastes containing dangerous substances). Depending on branch of industry and production process, also other EURAL codes may be applicable. Hazardous waste according to Directive 2008/98/EC.
Disposal methods: Dissolve or mix with a combustible solvent. Remove to an authorized incinerator equipped with an afterburner and a flue gas scrubber with energy recovery. Remove waste in accordance with local and/or national regulations. Hazardous waste shall not be missed together with other waste. Different types of hazardous waste shall not be mixed together if this mail entail a risk of pollution or create problem for the further management of the waste. Hazardous waste shall be managed responsibly. All entities that store, transport or handle hazardous waste shall take the necessary measures to prevent risks of pollution or damage to people or animals. Do not discharge into drains or the environment.
Packaging/Container: waste material code packaging (Directive 2008/98/EC). 15 01 10* (packaging containing residues of or contaminated).
