Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

- Endpoint:
- relative density
- Type of information:
- experimental study
- Adequacy of study:
- key study
- Study period:
- 2017-06-27 until 2017-08-29
- Reliability:
- 1 (reliable without restriction)
- Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
- guideline study
- Qualifier:
- according to guideline
- Guideline:
- OECD Guideline 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids)
- Qualifier:
- according to guideline
- Guideline:
- EU Method A.3 (Relative Density)
- Principles of method if other than guideline:
- Since the test item is a solid melt at room temperature it could not be filled in a pycnometer. For this reason the test item was melted, filled in a glass vial and weighed. The volume of vial was determined before and the density of the test item could be calculated with the quotient of sample weight and the corresponding volume.
Description of the procedure:
(a) The vial was weighed
(b) The vial was completely filled with water and hold for 30 min. at 20 °C under temperature control. Then the vial was weighed again
(c) The vial was emptied, cleaned and dried and filled with the melted sample, then weighed - GLP compliance:
- yes
- Type of method:
- pycnometer method

Expiry date: 2017-09-17 - Key result
- Type:
- relative density
- Density:
- 1.333 other: dimensionless
- Temp.:
- 20 °C
- Remarks on result:
- other:
- Remarks:
- mean value of two determinations
- Conclusions:
- A relative density of 1.333 (mean value of two determinations) to test item phosphorothioyltris(oxybenzene-4,1-diylcarbamoyloxyethane-2,1-diyl) trisprop-2-enoate was measured at 20 °C.
- Executive summary:
With the test item phosphorothioyltris(oxybenzene-4,1-diylcarbamoyloxyethane-2,1-diyl) trisprop-2-enoate, the relative density was determined by the displacement method according to OECD 109.
A relative density of 1.333 (mean value of two determinations) was measured at 20 °C. The determined density has to be regarded as an approximate value.
Reference
The determined density has to be regarded as an approximate value.
Description of key information
A relative density of 1.333 (mean value of two determinations) was measured at 20 °C.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Relative density at 20C:
- 1.333
Additional information
The determined density has to be regarded as an approximate value.
