- Conclusions:
- DTPA-FeK (FeDTPA K) does not have the oxidizing properties in accordance with test A.17 criteria.
- Executive summary:
Determination of oxidizing properties of DTPA-FeK was performed according to method A.17 Oxidizing properties for solids.
The preliminary test with a mixture of the test substance and cellulose (ratio 2: 1) was performed. The sample charred only in the place of applying the flame of the burner. The sample did not ignite. The burning time of standard mixture was 34 s.
In train test, were used mixtures containing 10% to 90% of cellulose and tested substance. As a reference was used mixtures containing 10% to 90% of cellulose and barium nitrate (V). The maximal burning rate of the reference mixture was 1.82 mm/s. The mixtures of tets substance and cellulose did not burn. DTPA-FeK (FeDTPA K) does not have the oxidizing properties in accordance with test A.17 criteria.
