The substance is under the conditions of the test and in the tested concentration (5 g + 5 mL water) completely miscible with water.
Reference
Preliminary test
Samples of the test item were prepared in purified water. The mixtures were shaken for ten minutes on a shaking machine and the dissolution behavior was checked.

Pre-sample 5 was additionally incubated for 24 hours at 30 °C under an incubation hood and then equilibrated for 24 hours at 20 °C in a thermostat. After this, the sample was completely dissolved and clear.
The test item was completely dissolved in the pre-sample 5. Therefore the test item was expected to be completely miscible with water and the water solubility was expected to be > 50 %
Due to these facts the procedure for the main test according to the OECD Guideline was modified.
Main test
Two samples were prepared containing approx. 5 g of the test item (see table below) and 5.0 mL of purified water. The samples were shaken for 24 hours at 30 °C and then incubated at 20 °C for 24 hours inside of a thermostat.
After this period the water solubility was checked manually. No phase separation was observed; the samples were clear. The test item was completely dissolved in the samples.
