Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Consult a physician
A sensitization of the respiration tract is possible,
therefore people with chronic diseases of the respiration
tract should not work with reactive dyes.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water with opened lid. Consult a physician
Emergency measure - Skin: Rinse with water and clean with water and soap.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: By indisposition consult a physician
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: carbon dioxide, foam, powder-type extinguishing agent or
water mist
Product arising from burning: carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides, hydrogen
chloride, hydrogen fluoride
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: self-contained breathing apparatus
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid skin contact and inhalation of dye dusts. Labelling of
packages for spilt material. Use protective clothing, rubber
gloves, goggles and dust respirator for cleaning up spilled
material.
Dust can be avoided by moistening the spilt material and
covering with moistened inert material.
Use industrial vacuum cleaner.
Handling and storage
Handling: avoid spilling and whirling up dye dust
use suitable tools and technical suction apparatus
personal protective advice:
suitabel operating clothes, rubber gloves, goggles and dust
respirator (P2, e.g. 3M-Vliesmaske)
Storage: Provide good industrial hygiene
Opened packages should be closed tightly.
Product residues on containers should be avoided.

Special provisions / remarks
- Remarks:
- Transport: No dangerous cargo according to international transport
regulations. Use stable packages. For inner transport use
tightly closed containers.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: no
Chemical reaction with water: hydrolysis of the reactive constituent
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: no possibilities
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: not possible,
by intended use no hazardous effects are expected.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Discharge in seepage-proof waste disposal sites is possible,
with respect to local administration and regulations.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The incineration of dry dyestuff is possible. A formation
of acid exhaust gases is possible, therefore a special
scrubbing device for this type of waste gases is
recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: In biological sewage plants the residues of dyestuff can be
eliminated by precipitation or adsorption on sewage sludge.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: not applicable, substance does not enter public domain
