Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
Category 2 (highly flammable liquids) based on GHS criteria
Executive summary:

The flash point of the test item was determined according to European Commission Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Annex, Part A, A.9., Flash Point [ISO 3679 and ISO 3680].
Therefore 4 mL of the test item were equilibrated for one minute at test temperature in the closed heating chamber and then it was tried to ignite the gaseous phase upon the surface of the liquid with the pilot flame of the flash point device. The results of the main tests are summarized in the following table. In the main tests the temperature interval for the single measurements was 1.0 °C. At the found flash point testing was also performed 0.5 °C below the lowest temperature at which the test was positive.
Test No.                 Measured Flash Point [°C]            Atmospheric Pressure [kPa]         Corrected Flash Point [°C]
Main test 1                       22.5                                        101.8                                       22.7
Main test 2                       22.0                                        101.8                                       22.2

The flash point is defined to be the lowest temperature of the sample, corrected to 101.3 kPa. The final result was rounded to 0.5 °C.

Flash point of the test item:
t(Flash Point)  :  22.0 °C (101.3 kPa)
T(Flash Point) : 295.1 K (101.3 kPa)
