Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The mean partition coefficient (mean log Pow) of AP 729 was found to be 4.31 at 30°C.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of test item AP 729 was determined in the present study according to OECD Test Guideline 117 (HPLC method).

The dead time t0 was determined by using Thiourea as unretained substance.
Six reference standards
of known log Pow and the test item were analyzed by HPLC: the retention times were determined and the capacity factors ‘k’ were calculated.
The partition coefficient of the test item AP 729 was obtained by interpolation of the calculated capacity factor ‘k’ on the calibration graph of ‘log k’ versus ‘log P
ow’ for the reference substances with appropriate ‘log Pow’ values.
The partition coefficient
(log Pow)of AP 729  was found to be 4.31 for Replication 1 and 4.31 for Replication 2.

The mean partition coefficient of AP 729 (log Pow) was 4.31 at 30°C.
