Exposure controls / personal protection
- Parameters to be monitored components with limit values that require monitoring at the workplace:
Xylene (CAS 1330-20-7):
TWA = 50 ppm (221 mg/m³), Directive 2000/39/EC of the Commission to establish a first list of indicative occupational exposure limit values. Notes: Indicates the possibility that larger quantities of the substance may be absorbed through the skin Indicative
STEL = 100 ppm (442 mg/m³), Directive 2000/39/EC of the Commission to establish a first list of indicative occupational exposure limit values. Notes: Indicates the possibility that larger quantities of the substance may be absorbed through the skin Indicative
AGW = 100 ppm (442 mg/m³), TRGS 900 - Occupational Exposure Limits. Senate Commission for the Examination of Harmful Working materials of the DFG (MAK Commission) European Union (An air limit value has been set by the EU: Deviations in value and peak limitation are possible). Skin resorptive

- Eye/face protection: Safety goggles with side protection according to EN 166. For eye protection, only use equipment that complies with official standards, such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166 (EU) that have been tested and approved.
- Skin protection: Work with gloves. Gloves must be examined before use. Use a suitable removal method (without the glove surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with legal requirements and good laboratory practice. Washing and dry your hands. The protective gloves selected must meet the specifications of the EC Directive 2016/425 and the resulting EN 374 standard.
