Two measured reliable flash point study results are available for the submission substance. A flash point value of >110°C at 1013 hPa was obtained for the substance using a rapid equilibrium closed cup method in accordance with EU Method A.9 (ISO 3679). Similarly, in a non-equilibrium closed cup method which was conducted in accordance with EU Method A.9 (ISO 2719), flash point value of 129.5°C at 1013 hPa was obtained for the substance. The two results are considered to be reliable and used as weight of evidence.
A flash point of >110°C and a predicted boiling point of 320°C, indicate that the substance is not classified for flammability according to the criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
