Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The ready biodegradability of the substance was evaluated by taking in consideration data on Similar Substance 01. Justification for Read Across is given in Section 13 of IUCLID.

The ready biodegradability of the analogue substance was assessed in a Manometric Respirometry test conducted in accordance with OECD guideline 301-F and EU Method C.4 -D under GLP conditions. Under the conditions of the study, the test material degraded approximately 2 % within 28 days of incubation with activated sludge. Two of the flasks performed with the test material gave negligible oxygen consumption, whilst the third gave 8 % within 28 days. All controls performed as part of the test demonstrated that the test system was operating correctly and the test material exhibited no toxic effect on the inoculum. All validity criteria were met. Therefore, under the conditions of the study, the test material can be categorised as 'not readily biodegradable'.

The substance is considered to have a similar behaviour and is therefore expected to be non-readily biodegradable.
