The cube was filled with the test item and tapped gently, test item was added more until the cube was completely filled. The cube was then suspended in the center of the oven at room temperature. The temperature was raised up to 400 °C at a rate of 0.5 °C/minute.

Executive summary:

The relative self-ignition temperature of the test item was determined in accordance with the method described in the EU method A.16. The test item was placed in a cube, which was suspended in the center of the oven, at room temperature. The temperature was raised up to 400 °C (at which test item undergoes decomposition) at a rate of 0.5 °C/minute. Very sharp temperature rise above the oven temperature was not observed, which  indicates that the test item does not undergo self ignition up to 400 °C.
