Additional information

p-Cumylphenol (PCP) is an off-white, odourless organic non-flammable solid molten mass. PCP’s melting point ranges from 73.5 to 76.0 °C and its boiling point is greater than 310 °C at 101-103 kPa. PCP’s density is 1.09 g/cm³ at 20 °C. PCP’s vapour pressure was calculated to be 1.69E-4 Pa at 25 °C. The logarithm of the octanol-water partition coefficient (LogPow) was reported to be 3.8. PCP’s water solubility at 22 °C was found to be 18 µg/L. An aqueous solution of 16 mg/L PCP has a surface tension of 65 mN/m at 20 °C.
