Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2016-05-27 until 2016-10-12
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Remarks:
22 september 2015
Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
> 555.5 g/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 11.66 - <= 11.75
Remarks on result:
completely miscible
Details on results:
Based on the measured concentrations the test mixtures were homogeneous and the whole amount of the added test substance was dissolved.
As the measured concentrations correspond to the total dissolution of the test substance, and also based on the justification measurement, water solubility of AEEU is higher than 555.5 g/L (nominal concentration) at 20°C.

Conclusions:
The solubility of the test item is higher than 555.5 g/L at 20°C with a pH between 11.66 to 11.75.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of the test item was determined according to recognized international Guidelines (EU Method A.6 and OECD 105) and under GLP. No deviation from the guideline was observed during the study.

The substance is dissolving in water without restraint. Therefore a mixture of test item of 500 mg/mL solution was prepared. Subsequently, the mass concentration of the substance in the aqueous solution is determined by an appropriate analytical method.

Based on the results, the solubility of the test item was found to be higher than 555.5 g/L at 20°C with a pH between 11.66 to 11.75.

Description of key information
