Results and discussion

Auto-ignition temperature (liquids / gases)
Auto-ignition temperature:
460 °C
Atm. press.:
>= 995 - <= 997 hPa
Remarks on result:
other:

Any other information on results incl. tables

The lowest value of the auto ignition temperature is 463 °C. This value was determined using 17 drops test item. The test item showed auto ignition after 23 seconds. The auto ignition temperature (result of determination) is the lowest value from the lowest values of the three experiments, rounded down to a whole multiple of 5 °C. Therefore, the auto ignition temperature is stated as 460 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The auto ignition temperature was determined in three independent determinations. A lowest value of the main test of 463 °C was found.Therefore, the auto-ignition temperature according to EU A.15 (rounded down to a whole multiple of 5 °C) of MAEEBP is stated as 460 °C.
