Administrative data
First-aid measures
· General information:
Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.
· After inhalation:
Remove from exposure site to fresh air and keep at rest. Obtain medical advice.
· After skin contact:
Remove contaminated clothing and wash exposed area thoroughly with soap and water. A physician may need to examine the area if irritation or pain persists.
· After eye contact:
Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation develops consult doctor.
· After swallowing:
Rinse mouth with water and get medical attention immediately.
If swallowed do not induce vomiting never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing agents: CO2, foam, dry chemicals.
· For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents:
Do not use direct water jet on burning material.
· Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
In case of fire, the following can be released:
Carbon monoxide (CO) Carbon dioxide (CO2)
· Advice for firefighters
· Protective equipment:
Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary
Accidental release measures
· Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Keep away from ignition sources. Wear protective clothing.
Use an individual protective equipment (waterproof boots, suitable protective clothing, and safety glasses). Prevent any contact with hot surfaces. Do not approach facing the wind.
· Environmental precautions:
Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course.
· Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Contain spilled material. Cover with and inert, non-combustible, inorganic absorbent material, or sweep up and remove to an approved disposal container.
Handling and storage
· Precautions for safe handling
Handle in well ventilated area. Handle away from sources of ignition.
• Avoid contact with eyes, open cuts.
• Wash thoroughly after handling.
• Keep away from food, domestic water supplies.
Apply according to good manufacturing and industrial hygiene practices with proper ventilation. Do not drink, eat or smoke while handling. Respect good personal hygiene.
· Information about fire - and explosion protection:
Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.
· Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
· Storage:
· Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles:
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances.
· Information about storage in one common storage facility:
Store away from oxidising agents.
Store away from heat sources and protected from light.
· Further information about storage conditions:
Keep container tightly sealed. Keep air contact to a minimum

Exposure controls / personal protection
· Exposure controls
· Personal protective equipment:
· General protective and hygienic measures: Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
· Respiratory protection: Use breathing protection with high concentration.
· Protection of hands:
Protective gloves
Use chemical resistant gloves as needed.
· Material of gloves
The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
· Penetration time of glove material
The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.
· Eye protection:
Tightly sealed goggles
· Body protection: Protective work clothing
Stability and reactivity
· Reactivity Stable at ambient temperature and under normal conditions of use.
· Chemical stability
· Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided:
No decomposition if used according to specifications.
· Possibility of hazardous reactions No dangerous reactions known.
· Conditions to avoid
Avoid contact with incompatible materials
Avoid contact with excessive heat, open flames or other sources of ignition.
· Incompatible materials: Avoid contact with strong acids, alkali or oxidizing agents.
· Hazardous decomposition products:
Hazardous decomposition products formed under fire conditions. - Carbon oxides
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods
· Recommendation
Dispose off waste material according to local, state and federal regulations. Incineration or sanitary landfill in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
· European waste catalogue
07 06 wastes from the MFSU of fats, grease, soaps, detergents, disinfectants and cosmetics
· Uncleaned packaging:
· Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
