- other: concentration 10mg/l
- Parameter:
- % degradation (CO2 evolution)
- Value:
- 37.9
- Sampling time:
- 28 d
- Remarks on result:
- other: concentration 20 mg/l
- Details on results:
- The substance was tested at two concentrations: the lower 10 mg/l was giving the result >60% yield of CO2 production, but this level was not reached within 10 days time window.
The higher concentration 20 mg/l was giving the lower biodegradation levels as reported above.
Although a substantial biodegradation was recorded after 28 days of incubation, the substance appeared to be not readily biodegradable in this test.
BOD5 / COD results
- Results with reference substance:
- 91.7% after 28 days.
