Preparation
The water-accommodated fractions (WAFs) were prepared for the test. This was done by pipetting the real loads of 46 / 100 / 220 / 460 / 1000 mg/L resp. 59.0 / 128.2 / 282.1 / 589.7 / 1282.1 µL/L test item (based on a density of 0.78 g/mL given by the SDS) of the corre-sponding amount of dilution water and stirring vigorously for 24 ± 1 hours. The resulting solutions were used unfiltrated. - Vehicle:

- Details on results:
- The study was performed using 5 concentrations ranging from 46 to 1000 mg/L nominal concentration. For each test concentration and the blank control, 20 daphnia were exposed to the test item for 48 hours in a static test system. After 24 and 48 hours, the im-mobilised daphnia were counted.
Four concentrations showed toxicity between 15 and 100 % immobilisation. None of the animals was immobilised in the blank control. - Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- 48h-NOEC = 1.50 mg/L
48h-LOEC = 3.90 mg/L
24h-EC50 = 7.58 mg/L
48h-EC50 = 6.50 mg/L
