Administrative data
First-aid measures
should be taken into fresh air and made to rest. Seek
medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical
attention if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately wash the affected area with warm soapy water
then clean the skin with resin removing cream, followed by
further washing with warm soapy water. Do not use solvents.
If irritation persists seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
extinguisher. Do not use water jets as these may spread the
fire base.
Product arising from burning: Combustion may release oxides of carbon and nitrogen and
sulfur. The chemical structure of the substance suggests
cyanide gas can be released during a fire.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Sweep up and collect in a suitably labelled container.
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Handling and storage
(nitrile gloves are suitable) and if necessary use
disposable sleeves for protecting arms.
Avoid inhalation of fumes generated during processing
operations.
Storage: Store in sealed containers at -20 Deg C in the dark.
Store away from food and food stuffs.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The roll of impregnated woven fabric is wrapped in
polyethylene, sealed at both ends and placed in a cardboard
box.
