Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Crude 1,3-dichloropropene was found to have a log10Pow value of 2.3. This experimental Log Pow value is in agreement with the QSAR KOWWIN, Version 1.67, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimated value of 2.25. These data suggest that Crude 1,3-dichloropropene has little or no potential to bioconcentrate in the aquatic environment.
Executive summary:

The Partition Coefficient (Log Pow) of Crude 1,3 -Dichloropropene was determine experimentally by EEC Method A8 and O.E.C.D. Testing Guideline No. 117 (HPLC method) with GLP compliance and by QASR modeling (KOWWIN, Version 1.67, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency). Crude 1,3-dichloropropene was found to have a log10Pow value of 2.3. This experimental Log Pow value is in agreement with the QSAR KOWWIN, Version 1.67, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimated value of 2.25. These data suggest that Crude 1,3 -Dichloropropene has little or no potential to bioconcentrate in the aquatic environment.
