- The SkinEthic RHC model consits of transformed human keratinocytes of the cell line HCI. The test is based on the hypothesis, that irritant chemicals are able to penetrate the stratum cormeum of the SkinEthic RHC model and are sufficiently cyctotoxic to cause cell death in the underlying cell layers.
