Additional information

A study was conducted (BASF AG A598) using the Abel-Pensky method to determine the flash point of the test item. The flash point was determined to be 27 °C at 1013.25 hPa. In addition a literature review was conducted. The GESTIS database reports the flash point to be at 27 °C and the CRC Handbook reports the flash point to be at 29 °C. Thus all reported values were in the same range. The determined flash point of 27 °C was regarded as worst case and was therefore chosen as key value for chemical safety assessment.
