Description of key information
The vapour pressure of MENTHANYL ACETATE MULTICONSTITUENT was determined by a modified static method.
The vapour pressure of MENTHANYL ACETATE MULTICONSTITUENT was 0.4hPa at 20°C; 0.8hPa at 30°C and 2.5hPa at 50°C.

Key study was performed in order to determine the vapour pressure of MENTHANYL ACETATE MULTICONSTITUENT according to the EU method A.4 and OECD 104 using the static method.
The vapour pressure of MENTHANYL ACETATE MULTICONSTITUENT was measured at five temperatures and the vapour pressures of the test item were extrapolated at lower temperatures (20°C,30°C and 50°C).
No observations were made which might cause doubts concerning the validity of the study outcome.
However, the study was considered as reliable with restrictions because the vapour pressure was measured in the range 53.5 to 167.9°C instead of preferably in the range 0 to 50°C as recommended in the OECD 104.
