Studies carried out to assess the toxicity of the test material in Fish, Daphnia and Algae all came to the same conclusion:

Fish: 96-Hour LC50 of greater than 100% v/v saturated solution. The No Observed Effect Concentration was 100% v/v saturated solution. This study showed that there were no toxic effects at saturation.

Daphnia: 48-Hour EC50 of greater than 100% v/v saturated solution. The No Observed Effect Concentration was 100% v/v saturated solution. This study showed that there were no toxic effects at saturation.

Algae: EC50 values of greater than 100% v/v saturated solution. The No Observed Effect Concentration was 100% v/v saturated solution. This study showed that there were no toxic effects at saturation.

Studies to assess Partition coefficient and ready biodegradability were not possible as the test material is inorganic. As such, based on the results of the Aquatic toxicity data only, the test material is considered to be not classified according to current classification and labelling guidelines.
