Short term toxicity to fish: Key study: Test method EEC C1, OECD 203. GLP study. The 96 hour-LC50 was determined to be >89.8 mg/L and the NOEC was considered to be >= 89.8 mg/L in fish.

Short term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates: Key study: Test method EEC 2, OECD 203. GLP study. The 48-hour EC50 for immobilisation of Daphnia magna was determined to be > 101 mg/L and the NOEC was considered to be >= 101 mg/L.

Toxicity to aquatic algae: Key study: Test method EEC C3, OECD 201. GLP study. After 72 hours of exposure, the EbC50 (biomass) and ErC50 (growth rate) respectively were 13.8 and 22.0 mg/l in green algae. The NOEC for both area under the growth curve and growth rate was 4.34 mg/l.

Toxicity to microorganisms: Key study: Test method EEC C11, OECD209. GLP study. A three hour EC50, value of test item to activated sludge was determined to be greater then 1000 mg/l, the highest level tested.
