Additional information

The endpoint "toxicity to other above-ground organisms" of '1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine-2,5-dithione, reaction products with hydrogen peroxide and tert-dodecanethiol' [and also of the supporting substance '1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine-2,5-dithione, reaction products with hydrogen peroxide and tert-nonanethiol' (CAS 91648-65-6)] is covered by the extensive data provided in Section 5 of the Chemical Safety Report (CSR). The closely related substance '1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine-2,5-dithione, reaction products with hydrogen peroxide and tert-nonanethiol' is not classified in Annex I of Directive 67/548/EEC and has no classifications relevant to the mammalian toxicity criterion (i.e. not carcinogenic or mutagenic category 1 or 2; not reprotoxic category 1 or 2 or 3). Following this, it can be assumed that also the closely related substance '1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine-2,5-dithione, reaction products with hydrogen peroxide and tert-dodecanethiol' has not to be classified as toxic to mammals. Finally, based on the Chemical Safety Assessment (CSA), no further investigations are triggered.
