Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, trained personnel should give oxygen. Get medical attention immediately.
Skin Contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Remove and isolate contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention if symptoms occur
Eye Contact: In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
Ingestion If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Get medical attention if symptoms occur. Call a physician or poison control centre immediately. Only induce vomiting at the instruction of medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconsious person.
Fire-fighting measures
No unusual fire or explosion hazards noted. This material will support combustion

Handling and storage
Precautions for safe Handling Guard against dust accumulation of this material. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. Do not breathe dust from this material. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Incase of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Practice good housekeeping.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Appropriate Cengineering controls Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to control airborne levels below recommended exposure limits. If engineering measures are not sufficient to maintain concentrations of dust particulates below the OEL (occupational exposure limit), suitable respiratory protection must be worn.
Individual Protection measures
Follow all local regulations if personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in the workplace.
Eye/face protection Use tight fitting goggles if dust is generated. Wear safety glasses with side shields (or goggles).
(eg. EN 166) Eye wash fountain is recommended.
Hand Protection
The choice of an appropriate glove does not only depend on its material but also on other quality features and is different from one producer to the other. Glove selection must take into account any solvents and other hazards present. Select suitable chemical resistant protective gloves (EN374) with a protective index 6 (>480min permeation time).
Wear appropriate chemical resistant clothing. Personal protection equipment should be chosen according to the CEN standards and in discussion with the supplier of the personal protective equipment. (EN 14605 for splashes, EN ISO 13982 for dust)
Respiratory Protection: Use a NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator if there is a risk of exposure to dust/fume at levels exceeding the exposure limits. Where breathable aerosols/dust are formed, use suitable combination filter for gases/vapours of organic, inorganic, acid inorganic, alkaline compounds and toxic particles (eg. EN 14387).
