Administrative data

First-aid measures

General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product. Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Move out of dangerous area

After inhalation: If chemical is inhaled, move person into fresh air. Keep at rest. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician immediately.

After skin contact: Remove any contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists. Wash clothing before reuse.

After eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If in discomfort, consult an ophthalmologist.

After swallowing: Rinse mouth with water immediately (only if the person is conscious). Seek medical advice. Do not induce vomiting.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions. CO2, extinguishing powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: High volume water jet

Accidental release measures

Environmental precautions: Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course. Do not allow to penetrate the ground/soil.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Sweep up and shovel. Use a spark-proof tool. Keep in suitable and closed containers for disposal in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Handling and storage

Ensure good ventilation/exhaust at the workplace

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Avoid inhalation of vapor or mist.

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Do not leave container open

Keep ignition sources away –Do not smoke. Keep away from combustible material.

Protect against electrostatic charges.

Store product in its original container. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Store in cool, dry conditions in tightly-sealed receptacles.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep the airborne concentrations of vapor below their respective threshold limit value.

Ensure that eyewash station and safety shower is proximal to the work-station location.

Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.

Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing

Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.

Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

Stability and reactivity

Stability: Stabe under recommended conditions of storage and use

Reactivity: Reacts with oxidising agents, strong acids and alkalis.

Disposal considerations

Do not allow product to reach sewage system. Disposal must be made according to local and national regulations. Empty containers must be decontaminated before returning for recycling. Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
