Description of key information

The EC50 of the 48 hour static Daphnia magna toxicity study was estimated at 4.5 (3.0-6.8) mg/1.The no effect level observed for DTDM was 1.0 mg/1 after 48 hours.

Additional information

The acute toxicity of DTDM (Sulfasan R) to Daphnia magna was assessed using the methods outlined by the Committee on Methods for Toxicity Tests with Aquatic Organisms. Water quality parameters of temperature, dissolved oxygen and pH were measured at the end of the test and were within acceptable limits.
