First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Remove contaminated
clothing. Get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If victim is conscious give 2-4 glasses of milk or water.
Immediately get medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry chemical, foam, carbon dioxide.
Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon, hydrofluoric acid, peroxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Firefighters should wear full protective clothing including
self contained breathing apparatus. Firefighters should
avoid inhaling any combustion products.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Contain the discharged material. Do not allow the spilled
product to enter public drainage system or open water
courses. Dike the spilled material, where this is possible.
Handling and storage
Handling: Wear personal protective equipment to avoid exposure.
Negative pressure respirator with organic vapor cartridge is
required if vapor concentration exceeds limits specified
inappropriate jurisdictional directives.
Use in well-ventilated area. Lab hood or point source
ventilation recommended.
Storage: Store in a cool and dry location. May be stored in glass or
polyethylene containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Polyethylene 20 litre pails, polyethylene 120 litres
drums.
