Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The details on the performance of the tests are not well detailed but the low solubility of the substance difficults the performance of the tests.

The results available are:

1) EU Method C2, EC50 (48h) > 0.1 mg/L

2) EU Method C2, EC50 (24h) >=0.7 mg/L (testing at nominal concentration of 1000 mg/L, supersaturation of the media)

3) OECD 202, EC (48h) > 0.2 mg/L and NOEC 0.2 mg/L (testing at nominal concentrations 100, 500 and 1000 mg/L shows any inherent toxicity)

In the three studies the EC50 and NOEC are at levels up to the limit of water solubility.

When working under supersaturation conditions no acute toxic effects have been observed.
