Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

For the registration substance no study on the aerobic biodegradation in soil according OECD 307 is available. Instead the half-live of 14C C12 Glucamide was determined in an aerobic transformation test (OECD 307) in sludge amended soil to ca. 10d. In addition the aerobic biodegradation half-life in soil according OECD 307 was determined for the homologue 14C Glucamide 18u to <5d. Based on these two available studies with Glucamide homologues it can be concluded that the registration substance also biodegrades rapidly in aerobic soil. For the environmental safety evaluation the higher half-live of 10d is used.
