Administrative data
First-aid measures
Exposure by skin contact: Wash with soap and water thoroughly. Seek medical advice if necessary. Remover contaminated clothing.
Exposure by eye contact: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical advice.
Exposure by ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water. Do not give anything to an unconcious vistim. Seek medical advice immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media not to be used: None.
Specific exposure hazards: Avoid contact with fire and sparks.
Protective equipment for fire-fighters: Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Avoid breathing fumes, vapours or mists. Water may cause frothing.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Avoid release to the environment.
Methods for cleaning up: dike or contain spill. Apply suitable absorbent. Put in container. Close container. Prevent from entering sewer and waterways. notify proper authorities.
Handling and storage
Technical measures: engineering controls such as local exhaust ventilation should be used in order to minimise exposure to the substance.
Storage
Specific design for storage rooms or vessels: The substance is stored in isotanks of mild steel constructipn fitted with silica gel breathers to prevent the ingress of atmospheric moisture.
Conditions of storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
Quantity limits: None
Packaging materials: Mild steel isotanks.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory protection: The use of a vapour mask to a minimum standard of EN405 FFA1 is recommended.
Hand protection: Chemical protective gloves to a Standard EN374 should be provided. Usage periods should not exceed the breakthrough times for the chemical stated by the manufacturer of the glove.
Eye protection: Eye protection should be used when handling the substance. The protection should be capable of giving chemical protection as classified in EN166.
Skin protection: Handling of the material should be done wearing chemical protective clothing suitable for protection against the chemical as classified by standard EN368.
Stability and reactivity
Incompatible materials: Strong acids, bases or strong oxidisers.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon oxides.
Disposal considerations
Contaminated packaging: Dispose of by incineration or landfill in accordance with local regulations. Stack gasses should be scrubbed.
