Endpoint:
biodegradation in water: sediment simulation testing
Data waiving:
exposure considerations
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of sediment is unlikely
Justification for type of information:
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the sediment simulation test does not need to be conducted as the substance has no adsorption potential expected to sediment.
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study not be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of sediment is unlikely.

Description of key information

Biodegradation in water simulation tests: Data waiving: Study technically not feasible. In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation tests study does not need to be conducted as the substance is highly insoluble in water.

Biodegradation in sediment simulation tests: Data waiving: In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the sediment simulation test does not need to be conducted as the substance has no adsorption potential expected to sediment.
