First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
General advice: Do not leave the victim unattended.
If inhaled: If unconscious place in recovery position and seek medical advice. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
In case of skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off with soap and plenty of water.
In case of eye contact: Flush eyes with water as a precaution. Remove contact lenses. Protect unharmed eye. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
If swallowed: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Keep respiratory tract clear. Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms: No information available
Risks: No information available
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treatment: The first aid procedure should be established in consultation with the doctor responsible for industrial medicine.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Specific hazards during firefighting: Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.
Advice for firefighters:
Special protective equipment for firefighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Further information: Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.
Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Avoid dust formation.
Environmental precautions: Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities. No special environmental precautions required.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up
Methods for cleaning up: Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust. Sweep up and shovel. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling: For personal protection see relevant section. No special handling advice required. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Avoid dust formation. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Electrical installations / working materials must comply with the technological safety standards.
Advice on common storage: No special restrictions on storage with other products. No materials to be especially mentioned.
Other data: Keep in a dry place. No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
Specific end uses: Consult the technical guidelines for the use of this substance/mixture.
