Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The results show that there is no significant change of the measured surface tension. Thus it can be concluded that equilibrium is reached.
The results obtained were averaged, to give the surface tension of the solution.
The result is: 53.7 mN/m
Therefore, according to this test, it was considered that the test material is surface active (surface tension < 60 mN/m).
Executive summary:

The surface tension of a solution of 2-methyl-3-(p-tolyl)propionaldehyde in ultrapure water was determined according to the GECD Guideline No. 115, using the ring method.

The result is: 53.7 mN/m
Therefore, according to this test, it was considered that the test material is surface active (surface tension < 60 mN/m).
