The only chemical group associated with explosive properties, listed in UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Table A6.1, is C-C insaturations (benzene ring). Benzene rings are not associated with any explosive properties. The oxygen balance on the anhydrous form is: -1600 x (2*7+6/2-5)/170.12 = -113, however this is due to the presence of 5 Oxygen atoms, all present in chemical groups not associated with explosive properties (1x COOH, 3x OH). Therefore the structure enables to exclude explosive properties.
