Description of key information
There is one study available in which the flash point of the test item was assessed experimentally according to EU Method A.9, closed cup method, Pensky-Martens apparatus. The test item was found to have a flash point of 107.8°C at atmospheric pressure (101 325 Pa).
According to the criteria described in CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008, liquids with a flash point > 60°C do not require classification as a flammable liquid. Hence, decyl acetate is not classified.
