- The surface tension of Geranyl Formate was determined to be 59.3 mN/m.
- Executive summary:
The surface tension of a solution of Geranyl Formate in ultrapure water (24.3 mg/l to 25.4 mg/l, ~90% of the saturation concentration) was determined according to the OECD Guideline No. 115, using the ring method.
The result is: 59.3 mN/m
Therefore, according to this test, it was considered that the test material, and/or its degradation products, are surface active (surface tension < 60 mN/m).
