First-aid measures
DESCRIPTION of FIRST AID MEASURES
In case of skin contact: remove contaminated clothing immediately. Wash immediately with plenty of water and soap the body areas, which were in contact with the product, even if only suspected. Wash thoroughly the body (shower or bath).
In case of eyes contact: after contact with the eyes, rinse with water with the eyelids open for a sufficient length of time, then consult an opthalmologist immediately. Protect uninjured eye.
In case of Ingestion: do not under any circumstances induce vomiting. Do no eat or drink.
In case of Inhalation: if breathing is irregular or absent perform the artificial respiration. In case of inhalation have medical advice and show the product container or label.
MOST IMPORTANT SYMPTOMS AND EFFECTS, BOTH ACUTE AND DELAYED
None
INDICATION of ANY IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION and SPECIAL TREATMENT NEEDED
In case of accident or unwellness, seek medical advice immediately (show directions for use or safety data sheet if possible).
Treatment: none
Fire-fighting measures
EXSTINGUISHING MEDIA
Suitable extinguishing media: water, carbon dioxide (CO2) .
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: avoid full water-jet , which may disperse the product.
SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM the SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE
Do not inhale explosion and combustion gases.
Burning produces heavy smoke.
ADVICE for FIRE-FIGHTERS
Use suitable breathing apparatus.
Wear breathing apparatus, gloves, protective footwear. WARNING: pressurized containers may explode in fire. Breathing apparatus and complete body protection are recommended for fire-fighting, because the substance burning can produce toxic, corrosive and flammable vapours. If possible contain contaminated water used for fire-fighting and collect for subsequent disposal.
Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.
Move undamaged containers from immediate hazard area if it can be done safely.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PRECAUSTIONS, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT and EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
Wear personal protection equipment.
If exposure to vapour/powder/aerosol wear breathing apparatus.
Provide adequate ventilation
Use a suitable respiratory protection.
See protective measures for Handling and storage and Exposure controls/personal protection.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Contain liquid to prevent contamination of soil, surface water or ground water. Flushings and wash waters must be contained and prevented from entering into soil, waterways and ground water.
Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it.
In case of gas escape or of entry into waterways, soil or drains, inform the responsible authorities.
Suitable material for taking up: absorbing material, organic, sand.
METHODS and MATERIALS for CONTAINMENT and CLEANING UP
Wash with plenty of water.
REFERENCE TO OTHER SECTIONS
See also section Exposure controls/personal protection and Disposal considerations.
Handling and storage
PRECAUTIONS for SAFE HANDLING
Avoid contact with skin and eyes, inhaltion of vapours and mists.
Use local exhaust ventilation.
Don't use empty container before they have been cleaned.
Before making transfer operations, assure that there aren't any incompatible material residuals in the containers.
Contamined clothing should be changed before entering eating areas.
Do not eat or drink while working.
See also section Exposure controls/personal protection for recomened protective equipment.
CONDITIONS for SAFE STORAGE, INCLUDING ANY INCOMPATIBILITIES
Keep away from food, drink and feed.
Incompatible materials: none. See also Stability and Reactivity section.
Indication for rooms: rooms adequately ventilated.
SPECIFIC and FINAL USE(s)
None in particular.
