Additional information

Key study: The test was performed in accordance to the EEC Method A.2.

A colour change from very pale amber to yellow was observed from 205ºC (test 1) and 209ºC (test 2) with the evolution of white fumes which became very thick and filled the condenser prior to initial reflux at 320ºC (test1) and 318ºC (test 2) by which time the liquid was dark brown. The maximum boiling temperature observed was 332ºC (test 1) and 330ºC (test 2).

The atmospheric pressure during the test was 1019 mBar.

OS-2200 decomposed above 207ºC and boiling commenced at 319ºC with a maximum boiling temperature of 331ºC.
