The substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption based on a log Kow value of 1.99 and data cited in EU RAR indicate that adsorption to soil and sediment is not likely to be important. As the substance is a gas, it will preferentially partition to the atmosphere and rapidly volatilize to the atmosphere based on a calculated Henry's Law constant of 7150 Pa m³/mol, giving a half life of 45 minutes in a river, 2.9 days in a lake.
