Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

A LLNA was conducted with the reaction mass containing mainly 2-chloropropene. Since there was no indication that the test substance elicit an simulation index>3 when tested up to 100%, reaction mass containing mainly 2 -chloropropene was considered to be no skin sensitizer.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
A local lymph node assay (LLNA) was conducted with the reaction mass containing mainly 2-chloropropene showing that the mixture is not a skin sensitizer.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the above result, the reaction mass containing mainly 2-chloropropene shall not be classified as a skin sensitizer according to the CLP/DSD legislation.
