Additional information

The outcome of aerobic biodegrdation tests clearly indicates that the test substance is readily biodegradable. In addition the test substance will degrade under anaerobic conditions. No tests on hydrolysis were performed in view of the ready biodegradability of the test substance. Some phototransformation may be possible in water (Oussy 1988).

Based on the outcome of the studies (all with deviations from guideline studies) it is not expected that the test substance will bioaccumulate. The BCF will be calculated based on the logKow of 1.88. No adequate data are available for adsorption/deorption and therefore a calculation for LogKoc will be used in the risk assessment. Based on KOCWIN Program, the Koc calculated from Kow was 15.49.
